For those of you who enjoy a little drama with your television "Law & Order" on NBC is premiering its 19th season at 9 p.m. With new and old characters returning, the show hopes to up its ratings from last year. Its successful spin off "Law & Order: SVU" is still named the No. 1 drama on television and I think rightfully so. "Law & Order's" success could be contributed to the series set up.There is no carry overs and you can miss one week's episode and not feel completely lost when you watch the next one. The episodes are clearly designed with a beginning, middle and end which adds to its appeal. With new, youthful detectives returning, Detective Kevin Bernard (Andrew Anderson) and new ones stepping in, Detective Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) perhaps the show will be able to continue its already long run on NBC.
