Wednesday Revamped

Notice anything different? Well you should. For starters the design of our blog has been given a facelift leaving it refreshed and revived. No longer will food be a topic of interest, but instead has been replaced by the addictive culture of television. Personally I think it adds to the cohesiveness of our blogging goal, so I hope you enjoy this new change. Don't be afraid of the change, it'll be fun.

So...I really have no time to watch TV shows religiously but I certainly try. Thanks to DVR I'm able to catch up on my favorite shows when I've missed them because of work, school or studying (ick). There are few shows I follow but the ones I do I am obsessed. My top favorites are: The Office, Pushing Daisies, Mad Men and Project Runway (now over).

The Office. Need I saw more? This seriously is my favorite show of all time. I own all the seasons, catch the reruns (occassionally) on TBS and watch it every Thursday night at 8 p.m. If I can't be there to watch, like tomorrow night, I'm sure to find it online or record it ahead of time.

Last week's episodes left me tingling with happiness. If you haven't watched it yet and care not to be spoiled stop reading now.

Michael was disappointed when Jan failed to call him for the birth of her baby girl, Astrid.
Pam and Jim were experiencing some long distance relationship issues including the lack of enthusiasm or understanding of each other's days. Personally, I've been there. I thought it was true how difficult long distant relationships can be. After the initial adjustment that they're gone, you find yourself struggling to keep up with each others lives and feeling a little bit left out of their day-to-day experiences. So the end with them both calling each other at the same time but just seconds of reaching one another, they both leave optimistic messages that they'll overcome whatever rut they've fallen into. Think Pam will give up school and move back to Pennsylvania?

And who wasn't shouting with excitement when Michael FINALLY got over crazy Jan and asked Holly out? I know I was. Jan doesn't want to be with Michael and forbids him from ever dating Holly? Really? Crazy? A bit. Here's the highlight.

The Office is on tonight at 8 p.m. with an all new episode.

To end I leave you with a question and hopefully you all respond. What's your favorite TV show/shows this season?

The office just so happens to be the best show on televison, no question. For those of us who have had the privelidge to experience corporate America, this show really hits close to home. I like how you can find humor in one of the most boring jobs in America, a small-market, small town, paper company.
This show gives people a chance to release stress built up from a long day of dealing with corprate BS by mocking some of the things that happen daily. Whether it be the crazy co-workers or the random occourances that seem to always happen (bat in the office, fire alarms, or anything Dwight does), this show is always good for brightening your day!
I also want to add that I love that TBS re-airs old episodes of The Office. I unfortunatly got exposed to this great show later than most. The Tuesday night re-runs gives me a chance to catch up on any old episodes I haven't seen yet. These come in conveinent when you meet up with an old friend and drop one-lines and laugh for hours.

Exactly. I know people actually will find the Dwights, Pams, Michaels and Jims in their own offices.

I was shopping a few days ago and strolled down the game aisle in Target and saw The Office board game is out! I was super pumped. I haven't picked it up yet, but I am looking forward to adding it to my Christmas list! The best part of the game is you can earn Shrute Bucks! Anyone who follows the show knows the origin of the Shrute Buck.

Dwight: Very good. You have earned one Schrute buck.
Stanley: I don't want it.
Dwight: Then you have been deducted 50 Schrute bucks.
Stanley: Make it a hundred.
Dwight: Wh...don't you wanna earn Schrute bucks?
Stanley: No. In fact, I'll give you a billion Stanley nickels if you never talk to me again.
Dwight: What's the ratio of Stanley nickels to Schrute bucks?
Stanley: The same as the ratio of unicorns to leprechauns.

Ahhhh!! I love The Office. And I LOVED this scene:

Jim Halpert: Question. What kind of bear is best?
Dwight Schrute: That's a ridiculous question.
Jim Halpert: False. Black bear.
Dwight Schrute: That's debatable. There are basically two schools of thought...
Jim Halpert: Fact. Bears eat beets. Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
Dwight Schrute: Bears do not... What is going on?! What are you doing?!

I agree, when Jim dresses like Dwight is the best scene, but you left the best part out...

Dwight Schrute: Bears do not...what is going on? What are you doing? Well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I thank you.
(Jim pulls a bobblehead on his desk)
Dwight Schrute: Identity theft is not a joke, Jim! Thousands of families suffer every year!
